Norbert - Vocals, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Trumpet.
Another solo effort by Norbert 1985 & All That is a tribute to the mighty Spireites so beloved of Norbert.
It is recorded in a reggae style although Norberts vocals can't really stretch to singing in such a way (can they stretch to recording in any kind of way ?). It is a long song, over 7 minutes total running time, and it is reported that many folk have given up the will to live whilst listening to it. However in Nov 2010 the song was released to the general public via the Chesterfield F.C website message board and proved to be a surprise hit. These are some of the comments written about the song by message board users. You have got to take into account it is not a love song or the like that would shoot to number one in the charts,it is different but certainly a good effort,9/10..... Love it especially the chorus, I'll be humming it all day in my head, but I hope we won't be Bunkum this afteroon. I can hear the beat of the drum already in the background.lol. Good effort mate, don't forget to add the Shezza and B2Net era when you can, or is that just encouraging you. Great effort, enjoyed listening to that Dat is goooood bro, just needed one ting...... ............Where was Bob Marley when you needed him! Somebody said they saw Brian the singing miner at the match the other week, perhaps he could give you some singing lessons. really catchy, especially the chorus, top marks ! my church-organist, trained singer wife thinks you're not that bad a singer, 'just a bit of training required to develop the raw material' ! You could be the CFC official crooner yet! push off Tony Christie .... its been stuck in my head for 2 days, i had to save the link so i can listen to it whenever, anyway you can get it on itunes? The popularity of the song also showed on the Soundclick music charts where the song was hosted. It reached a high of no 20 out of oveer 160,000 songs hosted on the site. In it's sub genre of Indie it reached No 5 out of over 30,000 songs hosted. It remains to this day the highest rated Fingolstones song of all time. The current CFC squad.
Well at least they were when this site was first published. The Legend that is Sir Jack.
