Norbert - Guitar, Drums & Trumpet.
This song was written by Daz and it is his regarded by many as his finest ever work. Having said that for the majority of his early adulthood he didn't actually do any work so thats not difficult.

It is a beautiful gently flowing song that takes the listener back to the heady days of the late 1980's and early 1990's or what were known as the Stuffies years. This term originates from the band The Wonderstuff and their flamboyant lead singer Miles Hunt. The Wonderstuff or simply Stuffies to the members of the Possee provided the soundtrack to Satdi Neets Rard Tarn. Stuffies became a generic term used for any decent music of that time, this also includes The Stonies, Happys and Carpets. Further to this any one who had a centre parted haircut became known as a Stuffies lad with a Stuffies barnet and any halfway fit bird who dressed even remotely trendily was known as a Stuffies lass.

Despite their thoughts to the contrary none of the Possee were actually Stuffies lads. Their schmutter and barnets were far to conservative to qualify. Even the Charmer with his flamboyant dress sense and various barnets never made the grade. Jonah on the other hand with his mid 80's boy band look and fake schmutter never even tried.

Of particular note is the ending of the song in which Daz's highly emotional vocal phrasing really makes the listener yearn for times gone by. Perhaps one of the best songs the Fingolstones ever recorded.

If anyone is wondering who or what "Lickpenny is, it's the middle name of Norbert "Lickpenny" Colon. Norbert Colon originally appeared in Viz comic and was a legendary miser. Norbert (the Fingolstones one) was given the nickname as some of his so called mates thought he was tight, he maintains to this day that he wasn't tight, just careful.

Out on a bender
Their chances were slender
Lickpenny thinking
Whilst others were drinking
Fancies a lump at the end of the night
He might have a chance if he wasn't so tight

Night on the lash with Lawson and Jonah
Lasses are drooling at Nessies boner
Buck made us laugh with his fashion shirt
Some nights  a sighting of Fireman Wort
Bunting and Foxy both fancy a pie
Charmer looks so old he'll surely soon die

He didn't have a job but was always on piss
Gems flocking round just to give him a kiss
Kate Hayes and Jenny were just two of many
A strike rate so high that it rivalled Lickpenny

Shields boy was similar such a glass back
Any work he took on would end in the sack
Keen on Gregs sister he thought just my ticket
If I got me knob out she'd hopefully lick it

Jonah would see Claire who was really bossy
Sometimes we'd meet with the pink cardy possee
Dobba and Goffy and Booga so dopey
Week after week their schmutter so ropey

Finish the night grooving in Th'Avenue
The tunes were so safe there it's simply untrue
Lee in his brown top and Jonah in Parka
Foxy so pale he made Nessie seem darker
Bucks ruby slippers lit up the night
Lawson and Jonah would look for a fight
We'd all be rat arsed on two or three years
Oh how I miss the Wonderstuff years.
