Guitar - Mutley McLadd
Drums - Chorley The Hord Vocals - Dobba Tape Recorder Control - Norbert Yo Foxy marked a completely new direction for the Fingolstones as they tried sampling for the first time. The song they chose to sample was a true classic, "Lady Muck" by their all time heroes The Macc Lads.
It is a very simple little song, very short but powerful in its message. Inspiration for the song is of course The Charmer and his incredible pulling ability. The actual process of making the song was complicated by Norberts lack of coordination on the tape recorder stop and start button, too much Ventolin was probably to blame. Eventually after numerous takes the song began to take shape. Dobbas powerful rock vocals reminiscent of a young Bon Scott set a searing pace at the beginning of the song and keep up a relentless bashing of the eardrums until the sharp and sudden ending with a cry of F**k This. And here are The Macc Lads with the classic “No Sheep Till Buxton”.

The Macc Lads.
In 2019 Daz and Norbert finally got to see The Macc Lads live in concert at Sheffield Academy. After the Gig Norbert approached Mutley McLadd and presented him with a signed copy of Captain Whistles Lonely Farts Club Band.
Obviously overcome with emotion Mutley said "Fuck off lad, I've spilt more ale down me wescot than you've supped the night" |
Mutley points at Norbert and tells him to "Fuck off you soft twat, I don't want a copy of your shite CD". Norbert had never felt so honoured in his life.
